Gallery of Corals

Over the past 3 months, I’ve been diving at a half dozen different locations throughout the Visayas region of the Philippines.  I’ve seen some amazing big flashy things animals, like turtles and squid and batfish and lionfish and titan triggerfish.

For me, though, corals are the most amazing animals underwater.  Here is a collection of photos to share the range of types of corals that I see.  I’ve included the species names where I know them.  Keep in mind: all of these funny flowery things are animals.  How cool is that??  I love the ocean.
